Purpose
The MagnePlate Retention Analyzer supports laboratory and clinical quality checks on magnetic interfaces and the registered external plates that attach to them.
Developed alongside the magnetic program: first-generation clinical use began in 2019, second-generation systems followed in 2022, and the third-generation Analyzer entered use in 2026 as part of the current phased introduction.
Used in the Magnetic Systems Laboratory for quality work on interfaces and commissioned plates, and clinically where a patient reports a change in how a plate seats. Findings inform the Magnetic Systems research programme as well as the individual plan.
Operated by the Magnetic Systems Laboratory. Clinical introduction of each generation is governed by Clinical Innovation and evaluated before network adoption.
AREOLA publishes purpose, governance and patient experience for its clinical technology. Construction drawings, manufacturing specifications, operational parameters and procedural instructions are not published.
