The study asks whether digital plate planning improves what patients actually understand about their plan, or only how confident they feel about it.
How the study is designed
A patient experience study comparing understanding and confidence after planning conversations supported by the Digital Plate Planning System, using structured assessment shortly after planning and again before the procedure date.
Participation
Recruiting at centers using the national planning platform. Participation is voluntary, adds two short assessments and does not change the planning conversation itself.
Participation in any AREOLA study is voluntary and may be withdrawn at any time without affecting care. Operational protocol detail is not published on this page.
Registered AREOLA studies are approved before initiation and subject to continuing review.
