What the collection is for
Everyday plates are the ones a patient wears without thinking about them: low profile, durable finishes and materials that tolerate daily handling, sport, sleep and clothing. Most patients with an interchangeable system spend the majority of their time in one.
Selection
Steel, silver and platinum in satin, brushed, bead-blasted or micro-brushed finishes dominate the collection because those surfaces age evenly. Highly polished and finely engraved work is generally planned into the Formal or Ceremonial collections instead.
Practical use
Patients typically register two or three everyday plates and rotate them, which spreads wear and means a plate is always available if one is being reviewed. All registered plates are recorded in MyAREOLA.
