Character
The Aurum program began in 2008 and remains the family with the broadest design range. Yellow, white and rose golds each sit differently against skin tone, and selection is generally made in person rather than from a description.
Finishes
Lustre, satin and linear brushed finishes are the approved set. Lustre carries the most light; linear brushed is the most forgiving of daily handling and the most common choice for a plate worn constantly.
Design and commission work
Gold accepts engraving and applied surface detail more readily than any other family, which is why most Custom Plate Studio commissions are built on an Aurum system. Clinical compatibility still governs what can be designed.
Models
The family is built around the Aurum G1 and G3, in fixed configurations and as part of the MagnePlate interchangeable system.
