A second opinion is a normal request
Patients regularly consult AREOLA after a recommendation elsewhere, and AREOLA patients are welcome to seek an opinion outside the institute. Neither request affects your standing with a care team, and coordinators will help assemble records for either direction.
What the consultation can offer
A second-opinion visit reviews the available record and describes how AREOLA would approach the same question, including whether it would recommend the same pathway, a different one, or no procedure at all. It is a considered clinical opinion, not a critique of another clinician.
What it cannot do
A second opinion cannot confirm the technical details of care delivered elsewhere, guarantee a particular result, or resolve a dispute with another provider. Where the record is incomplete, AREOLA will say so rather than filling the gap with assumption.
