Making an inquiry

Media inquiries reach Institutional Communications through National Patient Services. Inquiries should state the outlet, subject, format and deadline. Same-day requests are accommodated where possible, and the office will say plainly when a deadline cannot be met.

02

What the office provides

Institutional facts and figures, background on programs and research, leadership biographies, approved brand assets, and interviews with institutional spokespeople where the subject and timing allow.

03

What it will not provide

Patient information, patient introductions without the patient's initiation, clinical comment on individuals, or comment on other organizations. Patients who wish to speak publicly may do so; the institute does not arrange it on a journalist's behalf.

04

Accuracy

The office will review factual details of a draft relating to AREOLA on request. It does not review editorial judgement, framing or conclusions, and reviewing facts is not an endorsement of a piece.

Reviewed by Office of Institutional Communications

Content is reviewed with the relevant clinical, nursing, materials or administrative department before publication.
