Program purpose

What this pathway is designed to develop.

The alumni community preserves a professional learning relationship after fellowship. The directory emphasizes cohort, area of practice and continued educational involvement rather than implying that completion alone determines current competence or appointment status.

01

Learning domains.

01

Continuing case learning

Eligible alumni may participate in selected national conferences and institutional education updates.

02

Teaching contribution

Alumni can return as discussion faculty when their current role and experience match a program need.

04

Career connection

Annual alumni review keeps current roles, institutional appointments and participation accurately described.

02

Program structure.

Completion and current practice are separate

The directory records fellowship completion. It does not replace verification of a physician’s current license, privileges, scope or institutional appointment.

A national learning network

Alumni work in AREOLA centers and other elective settings, bringing different regional questions back to shared education.

Information stewardship

Career information is published with alumni confirmation and corrected when roles change. External organizations are not presented as endorsing AREOLA.
