About Dr. Ellison
Marcus Ellison, MD, became interested in magnetic systems while working with engineers on a difficult revision question early in his AREOLA career. He has since helped establish the boundary between a technology platform and a clinical recommendation: a system can offer flexibility, but it must still be appropriate for the person who will live with it.
Dr. Ellison evaluates first-time MagnePlate candidates, patients moving from fixed systems and individuals with questions about an existing magnetic interface. His consultations spend significant time on handling, registration, compatibility and the practical expectations of maintaining more than one external plate.
