What you will do.
- Interpret approved work orders, material records and finish specifications within established laboratory procedures.
- Perform assigned fabrication, surface-preparation and finishing work using qualified equipment and documented processes.
- Maintain patient-system traceability throughout each assigned stage and record required production observations.
- Prepare completed work for independent inspection and respond to documented quality findings.
- Support equipment readiness, material control, workspace standards and peer training within the laboratory.
How you will work.
No AREOLA role operates alone. This position maintains close working relationships with:
- Clinical Plate Design for approved design intent and orientation records
- Quality Inspection for independent review and release decisions
- Medical Metals Specialists for material-specific questions
- Plate Laboratory Operations for scheduling and controlled inventory
What you bring.
Required experience
- Three or more years of precision fabrication, medical-device finishing, jewelry production or comparable controlled bench work.
- Demonstrated ability to follow detailed work documentation and preserve part-level traceability.
- Experience using measurement, inspection and finishing equipment in a quality-managed environment.
- Steady judgment, fine-motor precision and willingness to stop work when documentation or condition is unclear.
Helpful additional experience
- Experience with stainless steel, silver, gold or platinum surface work.
- Training in regulated manufacturing or formal quality systems.
- Experience coaching junior technicians or supporting process qualification.
Your first year.
Complete laboratory orientation, material handling requirements and qualification on assigned core processes.
Manage a reliable plate-work queue with complete records and consistent quality handoffs.
Contribute to technician education, workflow improvement or a laboratory quality initiative.
